The new Fujinon Wide Power lens features the widest angle of view and best optical performance available. It is the only lens which provides an 85° horizontal angle of view (97° 47' diagonal). Using Aspheric Technology and Fujinon's patented Electron Beam Coating, overall performance has been dramatically enhanced.

The world-renowned Fujinon Internal Focusing system has been further developed to eliminate pumping effects, providing the camera operator with a constant picture size during focusing. The built in 2 X extender increases the range of focal length up to 96 mm.

Optimum ease of operation has been achieved with the new ergonomic design. The lens is equipped with an adjustable handgrip to suit the individual camera operator and the extra-large focusing ring also provides extra comfort. The zoom speed, from the wide to telephoto positions, can be varied from 5 seconds to an incredible 1 second. And last but not least, the new Quick Zoom Switch initiates a fast zoom to the telephoto position; the camera operator can then return to the initial setting on activating the switch.
